welcome

If your idea of a perfect holiday is a leisurely ramble through an unspoiled landscape with some magnificent views and a rich variety of wildlife, why not stay at La Poumayrette in May or June?

Days can be long, sunny and warm without the intense heat of mid summer, and the surrounding countryside is at its freshest and prettiest with fields and hedgerows full of a wonderful profusion of wild flowers including orchids and poppies, cowslips and lady's smock.

Follow routes through the beautiful medieval fortified villages of Castelnau, Puycelsi and Najac, or explore the twisting gorges of the Aveyron with some magnificent views for the more energetic!

For those simply looking for a peaceful getaway, relax by the pool, wander through the woods and fields which surround the house and watch the sun set from the terrace with a glass of one of the excellent local wines at your side.

We can provide local maps and plenty of suggested walks.
